Jump into the world of film with Spotlight Academy's Nationally acclaimed Film Camp for Kids and Teens, and discover the magic of filmmaking.
During the course the kids will stoke their imaginations, develop a story and characters and shoot a movie, taking on the roles of actors and camera crew.
Enjoying a fun,creative and collaborative experience of making a movie they will gain new
skills and a firm understanding of filmmaking.
The movie will be edited by an experienced editor. Camp participants will also receive a link to view and copy of their film to share with all their friends and family.
For Kids Age 8-11 years
The Schedule
Day 1: Idea brainstorming
Day 2: Plot outlining, pre-production.
Days 3: Rehearsals
Days 4 & 5: Shoot movie
Young filmmakers will get the opportunity to be directed by locally respected film directors. The movie when edited can then be download to share with friends and family.
Film camps are produced by, Jacqui Kaese: a top acting coach whose students have starred alongside Hollywood A-listers such as: Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise, Robert De Niro, Matt Damon, Scarlett Johansson, Jason Statham, Robin Williams, Chris Hemsworth, Jeff Baldwin.

Mike Nemeth is a Canadian Actor, Writer, Editor/Producer, His passion Behind the camera is just as strong as his passion in front of it. Mike has been involved with both Theatre to Film and Television, along with His knowledge on editing programs and script writing that has come from his hands-on experience and passion he has for the Arts itself. He has never let anything stand in his way when it comes to Film, he works hard and is a very friendly and approachable person.
