Planning, producing, crewing, filming and acting.
Explore the world of film with Spotlight Academy's film camps and discover the magic of acting and filmmaking. Teens will stoke their imaginations, develop a story and characters for a movie, and shoot the movie taking on the roles of actors and camera crew. Through the fun, creative and collaborative experience of making a movie they will make new friends, gain new skills and come away with an understanding of filmmaking.
Instructor: Justin Douglas
Justin Douglas is an actor, interviewer, activist and yogi with many years experience on sets & stages throughout Canada. Justin holds an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Victoria and civil & common law degrees from McGill University. He hosts a YouTube interview series called “Canada’s Social Change-Makers.” He currently lives in Victoria, BC, with his partner, David, and their two dogs and four cats.
