Rabecca Talbot is pleased to offer coaching services for young people who are curious about acting and advice for parents who don’t know where to begin with their child’s requests to perform.
Instructor: Rabecca Talbot
Rabecca is a Vancouver-based actor who brings together a unique blend of 15+ years in the Film & TV industry, over 20 years as a Theatre professional and 10 years experience working with young children. Her coaching has assisted clients to secure roles with 20th Century Fox, Hallmark, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, the CW and various commercials.
With multiple Jesse award nominations and two wins for her work in Vancouver Theatre, Rabecca went on to write and star in her own short film Suburban Behaviour for which she won Best actress and Best Screenplay at the North Shore Film Festival in 2008.
Rabecca founded a children’s entertainment company called My Little Birthday in 2009 and spent nearly ten years training young men and women to perform as Princesses and Superheroes for children’s birthday parties until 2018 when she sold the business in order to focus on her role as a wife and mother.
Married to Todd Talbot of Love it Or List Vancouver, much of her daily life continues to be on-camera for Rabecca and coaching her son for film and TV led to a new opportunity to once again work with young people.
It was on set for Hallmark’s Deliver by Christmas that Rabecca connected with Jacqui and Spotlight Academy. She is pleased to offer coaching services for young people who are curious about acting and advice for parents who don’t know where to begin with their child’s requests to perform. Her intention is to unlock the potential in each individual, build a child’s confidence and encourage her/him to trust that they are perfect just the way they are.
